It was founded in 2013 by Mrs Nabilah Mbogo, a Judicial leader who believed the importance of education as Uganda progressed. It began with only 34 pupils and it was housed in a shophouse in Gayaza. Twinbrook International Kindargarten began to function with Mrs Nabilah as the head of the school. Two years later, to meet the need for bigger premises, the school moved to Bamba, Kitezi. As a result of emphasis on high quality, the school was was flooded with a huge number of students.
With the inflax of many new students, a need for development ofan elementary section arose. Hence, a state of art primary section was created to accomodate that.
The success of Twinbrook, has had a great impact on the community as many are influenced either directly or indirectly. Multitude awards have been achieved, lives have been transformed, and yet the journey has just began.
Today, the school has a pupil enrolment of more than 800 , with more than 100 teaching and non-teaching staff members. Besides the usual facilities available in a modern primary school such as a Science room, an Art room, two Music rooms, two Computer laboratories, a Media Resource Library, a dental clinic, a sick bay and a spacious air-conditioned multi-purpose hall, it has a sheltered walkway connecting the kindargarten to the primary section, an artistically designed miniature pond with a state of art olymic size swimming pool and a well-equiped Sports Complex.
